「The hotel was old but upkept well. Great history and close enough to town to walk. The staff were lovely.」

「They forgot for housekeeping. When I check out, I asked to keep my luggage, but they did not store, they just left at reception desk where i put as it is. No one took care, and I was lucky it was not stolen. Terrible and unbelievable.」

「We booked this hotel as the one we stayed in the previous night was awful! This place is awesome! The most friendly staff, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment we booked was huge, well appointed and incredibly comfortable. We will definitely stay here for a longer stay next time we are up this way. 」

「Lovely place to stay」

「ソファのクッションはへたっていてダメ。運悪くエレベーターが2基とも壊れていて5階まで歩く羽目になった。食事もあまりおいしくはなかった。」

「Room spacious, warm and clean. The room had everything i needed for an overnight stay. The guy at breakfast was really friendly and helpful.」

「We stayed here in January 2025 and it was looking very tired. The updates are fabulous and it so much nicer. Great location. It sits right in the middle of the moors and Ilkley, with about a 10 minute walk to both or a 2 minute drive. On a hill though? 」

「The attention to detail is so lovely. Everyone was really helpful and we enjoyed the food, the surroundings and the spa. A really beautiful getaway. The female members of staff had to put up with a pretty misogynistic guest while we were there (which we witnessed at breakfast) and they kept their cool and handled his rudeness with grace and patience. A lot of friendly professionals work here and you can see they put love into their work! 」
