「The hotel is showing its age, its carpets are worn & stained. The whole interior reminded me of the 1980's . But the bed linens appeared clean. there was hot water & the building while quite full with many young people was quiet enough to get rest. But if you need a cork screw, the front desk can't help you, make sure you have soap and shampoo of your own, as it's not worth using their sample packs. the ' breakfast' is very basic . its at best a 2 star motel.」

「We so enjoyed meeting the owners Colin and Justin, we are super fans of their tv shows. We had our dinner at the Bothy, the dish was superb. We also had breakfast and was equally delicious. L’hôtesse, Carmen, est très accueillante, une artiste en soit. Par ailleurs, la maison est tapissée par ses œuvres, des magnifiques tableaux!! 「Did not know that there were so many stairs to get to and from the bachelor apt., However Hosts were there at the time we arrived to check on things and graciously helped us up the stairs with our bags ! We really appreciated their friendliness and kindness after a long day . The oatmeal cookies that were left for us as a special treat were fantastic and waking up to a beautiful view with Canada geese on the lawn by the lake was amazing!」

「I was contacted early on the day of arrival which was really nice as you immediately knew there were no problems with the reservation. Asked of any allergies were applicable in advance of breakfast the following morning. Upon arrival met by the owner and given all the information and shown to our beautiful room This location is like stepping back in time but with the modern touches in the bathroom . The bed and breakfast is very clean and the breakfast is a treat in itself with a Nova Scotia...

「I really enjoyed being right on the lake with access to kayaks. It’s the perfect spot for a good few to spend a quiet getaway. The town over is about 8 minutes away with lots of unique places to visit. Plus the beds are very comfortable. Furhermore, if you are considering a winter getaway I believe it would be a fantastique stay for that as well with the quaint electric fire place.」
