Restaurant was good. Attendant at reception at arrival was super bored and not ashamed to let me know. Tub was not draining and had a soap scum on bottom. Extremely slippery. Bed was very comfy.

Pros: had all you need, microwave, fridge, chairs, full bathroom, even a desk. The clerk/ manager was friendly and helpful. Cons: desperately need painting, heating system needs to work, fan in bathroom make a terrible noise

For the money it was ok. No hairdryer in room and would have appreciated 2 pillows per person. BBQ was old looking and property was just ok. Bed comfy and comfy pillows.

The bed was comfortable. The sheets were too worn and should’ve been replaced. I had to get clean sheets from the manager. The room was dirty and needed a good cleaning. The only thing good was the price.

The rooms have the bare bones. Nothing to make a tea or coffee. The beds are terrible, hard as rocks and because the floors were not level, your beds are not level either. The place was surfaced clean, but lots of grim and dirt and mold in the windows. The sheets were clean on the hard beds. Everything is very old and dated and cheaply done. I was unable to find a better place since other nearby places were sold out. I am sure that is how this old motel makes most of thier money. We payed $350 for two old rooms. Everything is old and run down. You can see this as soon as you arrive. The building needs painting, front desk area is shabby….. on and on it goes! They should take pride in thier place, not just make cheap do overs… shame on the owners!!!

Allowed us to extend stay for a few hours. Hotel is clean, not luxurious. Basic fridge and mic. A 5 min drive into North Sydney. Belle's Home Cooking is fabulous place to eat.

Friendly, helpful reception. Clean room for most part. Box-spring mattress damaged in one visible corner, not conducive to reliable maintenance. Other visible damage also. Outside of building needs maintenance as well. No coffee/tea provided. Functional mini fridge with small freezer were convenient, plus small microwave oven. Price I paid was more than price I was quoted by Expedia. Somewhat overpriced anyway for overall quality.

The room was clean. The bed was a little hard . The pillows were flag. But over all for the price it was great place to stay for a night or 2 . I will stay again on by way to the newfoundland ferry .

This location is perfect for anyone taking the ferry to or from Newfoundland. Nothing fancy or spectacular. Overall just average. Takes hot water awhile to arrive.
