「Found out upon check-in that dogs weren’t allowed even if they stayed in their kennel, but was told a rabbit in a cage could stay in the room. After rabbit was moved in, was then told that the rabbit couldn’t stay in there. Was offered a refund for the mixup, but then was told I’d have to request it through Expedia and after the whole misinformation with the rabbit, I didn’t trust that I would actually get the refund so our dog and rabbit had to sleep out in our vehicle overnight. 「Clean, quiet, great breakfast. We truly enjoyed our stay.」

「The hotel is showing its age, its carpets are worn & stained. The whole interior reminded me of the 1980's . But the bed linens appeared clean. there was hot water & the building while quite full with many young people was quiet enough to get rest. But if you need a cork screw, the front desk can't help you, make sure you have soap and shampoo of your own, as it's not worth using their sample packs. the ' breakfast' is very basic . its at best a 2 star motel.」

「We had a harbor view and were upgraded to a king suite. I loved the extra space. Helpful front desk. In a good area for the boardwalk and restaurants. We enjoyed the stay.」

「We ate dinner and breakfast in the onsite restaurant before catching the ferry. The food was tasty and served hot. It was nice to just walk to the restaurant rather than having to drive somewhere else. The room was very hot and we could not turn the heater off.」

「Did not know that there were so many stairs to get to and from the bachelor apt., However Hosts were there at the time we arrived to check on things and graciously helped us up the stairs with our bags ! We really appreciated their friendliness and kindness after a long day . The oatmeal cookies that were left for us as a special treat were fantastic and waking up to a beautiful view with Canada geese on the lawn by the lake was amazing!」

「Bottom line: this is a fun place to stay, and I think you will enjoy yourself if you stay here. House needs (and deserves) some TLC. The house could comfortably accommodate 8 guests, and maybe 2-4 more. We were not really familiar with Rita McNeil prior to our visit, but if you are, this place will be a thrill for you (it's her former home).
