「Only downside for me was the bed, making creaking noises every time I moved. I could hear the bed in room above had same problem. It didn't impact my stay too much.」

「Housekeeping needs looking at our room 412 down the side of the toilet has not been cleaned for a very long time dust thick on the pipes and disregard used toilet paper. The actual toilet is so close to the wall there is no room to sit on it properly. The sink and mirror are that old they need replacing asap. Breakfast was very good Reception staff were excellent. Busy weekend and only one lift working which is crazy for a busy hotel.」

「We had the most wonderful stay. Our room was beautiful and the big bath was a perfect treat! Also , the bed and pillows were super comfortable. Meals were delicious and the staff were courteous and friendly. We are already planning a longer stay in this really lovely hotel.」

「No reception staff as normally understood. We weren't welcomed but were told no storage for bags when we checked out! And told the time and no one would be there!!! Outside needed improving , Hall area needed painting. Room and bathroom ok but showe rail in bath not fixed properly on wall and came off. Silicone filler in bathroom needed replacing. Very small high windows, only opened tiny amount ,at top of building so very hot. Fridge OK.」

「This is definitely not a 4 star hotel! It is over priced. The rooms are small as is the shower room. The hotel needs updating. It is expensive and definitely don't book breakfast. We were not asked what we would like for a cooked breakfast. Instead this was placed in front of us within 2 minutes of us sitting down! It had been sitting around and definitely not cooked to order. The tables weren't laid. Instead you had to get your own cutlery etc. There were a few teabags and small kettle. The...

「The staff were amazing from the front desk Darcy and mum to the night porter, who could not do enough for us brilliant. Would recommend to all ages and jealous that we’re not still there. Carnival was great; only thing is if you’re down for this event next year, find parking first early, as it’s at a premiere. Massive shout out again to all. 👍😘」

「Good value. Had a pleasant ground floor room overlooking greenery and you can open windows and French doors to get a pleasing evening breeze. Property is a little dated but we were fine with that. Access to plugs is an issue for charger, kettle and iron , cant use light plugs as different so have to pull out tv on stand to access and crawl in. They should have an extension plug pack to make it easier.」

「Overall we were happy with the accommodation but concerned when the alarm went off while no staff were on site it was disturbing to get an automated response when dialing the out of hours contact number offering to put me thru to reservations or the restaurant. Was on a call to emergency services when someone appeared to say an alarm had been tripped in the cellar and issue resolved . I mentioned the out of hours contact number didn’t get me to a human response was told it connects to them...
