Great location. Very close to all shops and ferry. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Shower head need to be changed because it’s like a faucet. Great view of the ocean. Very friendly staff.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Especially Natalia. Everything is clean and well kept from that aspect of things. We enjoyed our stay "in the city", and will likely stay with Vista Del Mar again in the future. We can tell the building has been undergoing renovations. There still a lot of minor things that need some TLC to spruce things up. The centre spray portion of our shower head was missing, and promptly replace when we pointed it out. The staff are kind and interested in making the stay enjoyable. Natalia was very generous to us with her time to help sort out an issue we had with an activity reservation. Very smart and kind young lady. The hotel is located ion the heart of activities in the downtown are. Most places ar 5-10 minute walk, some more distant places 15-20 minutes. Lots of bars on the main drag as well as souvenir shops and the Cozumel Museum. There are many great little restaurants off of the beaten path to explore.

Check in easy. Natalia is very nice It’s a small boutique hotel. No crazy party Great for a relaxing stay. Watch people from the balcony. Walking and cruise boats coming and going. Place has everything you need. Hot water. 2 pools both are clean. A restaurant down below seperate from the hotel. Great location. On Main Street no taxi needed.

We only had one night here, the staff are super helpful and the view is great from the balcony. It’s a little dated but really clean and tidy with a lovely big bed. We would come back again for a short stay.

My favorite hotel on Cozumel. Right in the middle of the action, but quiet after hours. Nice clean spacious rooms and the balconies with sea view are comfortable and pleasant. Staff are the absolute best people.

The Hotel was located in a awesome area for everything you want to do and all that you may need. The cruise ships ans sunsets were epic and so many options for food. Nicest staff ever.

Amazing hotel with the nicest staff ever. I emailed them prior to coming if they can hook me up with champagne, flowers and candles to propose to my girlfriend and they made it happen big time. They recommended doing it at sunset with our ocean view room and it surpassed all expectations. 10/10 recommend to all who travel to cozumel.

Hotel felt neglected, though apparently they are doing construction on the pool area. Furniture was stained, dirty and broken (I had them remove a chair from my room during check in so I wasn’t blamed for it). Very dated and well worn though I could tell they were trying to keep it clean. The rooms have no soundproofing and just the dropping of objects on the floor from upstairs guest was loud. I only stayed 1 of the 3 nights I booked. All that said, the staff was very friendly and the location is great (the sliding door was pretty sound proof enough to deal with the street noise) and they were generous is offering compensation as I checked out early.

Vista del Mar has become one of our favorite places to stay on the island. The ocean views, busy street with plenty of people to watch makes it a place one is never bored. Close to food and entertainment. Rooms are always clean, and front desk clerks are always super friendly and willing to assist with anything. Beds are harder but comfortable for us. We plan to stay there when we return next year for Carnival.

This hotel is the perfect location, rooms have beautiful views and the staff are great! The coffee service in the morning is amazing! The property is lacking maintenance. If the owners would put some effort into the maintenance of the property, this hotel couldn’t be beat for the price.

Great staff and location

The staff was incredible. Ocean view room was fantastic and the price was great. The only downfall, which I'm guessing is common in older Cozumel hotels was the water pressure in the shower was low and it takes about 15 minutes or more of running the water for it to get hot. Other than that we enjoyed our stay very much and would gladly return.
