Cowdray Park Golf Club

Love this pub and the rooms are great but Hotels.com did not advise us they the pub was being renovated and both the restaurant and the bar would be unavailable for our entire stay. They were having new carpets laid and even getting to our room was awkward with workmen everywhere and having to ask them to stop because we needed to get through. It was totally inconvenient and as there are other places we could have stayed if I’d know, we wouldn’t have stayed here.

Clean and tidy. Air con in rooms needs work. Weirdly I had to have a single bed, as the rooms were all taken despite checking in at 5pm Is want a problem as in was travelling alone, but made me wonder what the case worked have been if I’d travelled with my partner.

Great hotel.
