「Before staying at this hotel I called and asked if the hot tub was working, I then made a reservation. The place sounded great, but it wasn't . I showed up and before checking in asked again is the hot tube working. I was told yes. Two hours later I found out it didn't work and hadn't for some time. The pool, kid's pool and hot tub were all filthy, with scum on their walls. The only emergency exit from the pool area, sealed closed with layers of ice. The fitness room consist of an old treadmill....

「The family above our room was banging on the floor and yelling ALL night and we couldn’t sleep. Tried calling the office and left a voicemail but no call back nor did they speak to family. Had to blast the A/C and TV to try and get sleep. When I checked out the following morning all they said was, “sorry”. Will not go back. Poor customer service」

「Quiet and comfortable. Would be nice to have option to purchase a breakfast snack or fruit but not a big deal if you plan ahead. Pretty spot and short scenic drive to cooperstown.」

「The room had a moldy smell to it. The bathroom was dirty and very undated like the rest of the hotel. Bedding had stains and didn’t look like it was cleaned. Light switches were not properly installed and/or wiring was done wrong (rm 104- light switch on wall behind middle night stand, turned off table light next to the tv and also shut the tv down.) I was too afraid to eat the food at breakfast. Its just an overall bad hotel.」

「Cozy rooms. Available cooking utensils, microwave, toaster and refrigerator. Staff provided clean towels and were very friendly. Good shops nearby and prices are very reasonable compared to Cooperstown.」

「The only places to stay around Glimmerglass are these small motels. This was a lovely surprise. The room was very clean and the owner is so nice. There is a nice backyard to this place that has a pavilion, a fireplace and games. Very family oriented.」

「Great value. One of the better continental breakfasts I’ve seen. Lots of options including eggs, sausage, waffles and different juices. Room was a little beat up but nothing that would keep me from staying again. Beds were comfortable and clean. Great stay especially for the fair price.」
