"It was okay for the one night. There was no hot water the shower kept getting backed up. Is definitely outdated. I’ve eaten bread thicker than the mattress. Parking is across ghe street first come first serve you might have a parking spot you might not. "

"Overall, we had a great time in PR. The Tryst is right on the water, with a great bar overlooking the ocean. The food was also good. When it comes to the rooms, they could use some updating. The bathrooms felt dirty and small I had to shower right next to the toilet. The cleaning lady came one time out of the 6 days we were there because we asked her to since no one came the other days. If you want a cheaper option right on the water, but don’t care about being in the room much this could be a good option. I’m happy we stayed here over somewhere more inland, but there could definitely be some improvements. "

"Friendly staff, excellent customer service. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel has its own designated beach area & amenities a couple blocks away just show your room card. This was an an unexpected bonus."

"Nice location and nice pool area. Convenient to the small, protected beach. We had to switch rooms at 10:30 at night due to a loud bass sound that maintenance said is the sound of the restaurant reclaimer (or something like that) that doesn’t get turned off until ~1am and on again ~5am. It was directly above our tenth floor room and was a terrible, deep sound. Our first encounter with staff sounded like she thought we were lying about it. For the cost of the room, we expected an entirely better experience and less condescending staff."

"We had an amazing time staying at LaConcha. The service and property were incredible. It’s in a central location walkable to so many restaurants and the restaurants onsite were all fantastic. "

"The lobby and resort are very nice. My 3rd floor ocean view, was a peek at the ocean after mostly a dirty, garbage polluted roof. The room was very musty smelling and was startled by a couple of cockroaches. The balcony was dirty, and the shower has no divider, so the bathroom floods. The lighting was dim and yellow in the bathroom. They need to update this room. The property is nice, great beach, pools and places to lounge. Get a spot early though, they fill up fast. "

"The service provided by the staff was excellent. Unfortunately, they do not provide in room food service so we found ourselves ordering in several times. On vacation, you do not want to always get dressed to go out to sit in a restaurant. The lighting in the bathroom was poor and there was no vanity mirror or light which made it difficult to do makeup. The shower was a bit complex to work and over designed. They should consider a simpler shower. The door to the shower did not close completely making it a gamble for a bathroom flood any time you shower. The lobby should be brightened up. The dimness takes away from the artistic designs and reduces warmth in the space. The pool is well designed, should maybe include an elevated smooth step to go around the pool so you can navigate without sinking. Consider extending breakfast hours to 12 Pm so guests can sleep in and still enjoy a rooftop brunch experience. The neighborhood is obviously in rehab but given the issues PR has experienced, it is understandable. Outside property grounds could be tended to better. Overall I would recommend a staying here. "

"Good morning! They say location is everything and in this case it’s 100% true. HiBird is in the middle of all the action - beach, resturant, old city. The hotel was nice- could use more drawers in room, but wasn’t in San Juan for room, but for the fun!! Staff excellent "
