"I've stayed here several times and the staff is excellent every time I go! They are helpful, accomodating and pleasant. The hotel itself is beautiful but I think it is starting to show signs of being dated. There aren't many amenties but there are spaces to work and a restuarant to eat. Most things are walkable from the hotel. Standard rooms are an okay stay but I would recommend upgrading if you can."

"We visited on vacation in October. This hotel was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the kindness and attentiveness of the staff made this an exceptional stay. Mr. Sam, the restaurant manager, made sure my grandson felt special on his birthday, with gift souvenirs and balloons. Even the cleaning personnel were friendly and attentive. Other amenities added to our stay. The restaurant food was excellent and we ended up eating there almost every day of our visit. The pool was wonderful and clean, great for kids. While not on a metro line (a consideration), they are nearby, and the Trolley Tour stopped right in front of the hotel. It is within easy walking distance of the capitol, but more distant from other museums on the National Mall."
