"Great location in historic Charleston. Easy walk to water and to the market full of shops as well as other dining and shopping. We walked everywhere. Beautiful artsy boutique hotel with great service, nice spacious room & great rooftop area with a bar & grill for dining. "

"Hotel is beautiful, staff was friendly, although poorly trained. There were signs posted that they were under renovation. Apparently they were working on hot water because the bathroom hot water faucet spit out a murky brown water. We ran it for several minutes and it finally ran clear. Not a big thing but the crew probably should have done that. It didn’t inspire confidence. I am a tea drinker. There was no tea in the room. I went down to the front desk in the morning to find some tea. The nice man told me it should be in the room or I could go next door and buy a tea. (He couldn’t get me a tea bag?) I went next door and bought a Black tea. When I got to my room and tasted the tea it was an herbal tea. I went downstairs again and told the nice woman she must have given me someone else’s tea. She apologized and told me they were out of black tea! It didn’t inspire confidence. We checked out. It took almost 30 minutes to retrieve our car from valet parking. It didn’t inspire confidence. A very nice place but they need someone to get in there and train/supervise their friendly staff. We will make another choice next time."

"The location was great. Within walking distance from shops, restaurants and sightseeing. Staff was awesome and rooms clean and beds and pillows were awesome which to me is hard to find. I highly recommend this place!"

"Service was excellent, The Consierge was extremely helpful in finding the things we wanted to see and places to visit. The buffet was wonderful and the staff there were very accomodating and friendly. It was disappointing that there was no gife shop to pick up a souvenir. The safety grab bar in the tub was a plus for the hotel."

"B //B lovely. Breakfast was very nice. Wine party and appetisers were delicious. Room very pretty.Staff was very nice, particularly the doorman. Problems were very noisy air conditioner, construction noise ext door starting at 7 AM, and the toilet seat was short and did not fit the elongated toilet."
