"There is a lot of long term guests in this hotel. Kind of old hotel but still kept clean and in good shape. "

"Fridge did not work. Poop stuck to the outside of the toilet. Black mold behind the toilet and sink. We had two homeless people drinking outside our room at the table and chairs out front which we told the front desk when morning cam one was passed out on the table. Called to ask for the manager or manager and was told manager was away for the next couple day but would get him to call. After a few days we did not hear back and we called them was told the manager was not still not available, the desk person asked and we told her about what we found and asked us to send the pictures to her which we did. Again we never had a return call so we called again and was told that the manager was still not around. The health board should be contacted "

"The room was clean and tidy, comfy bed, great view and friendly staff. You can tell there has been recent renovations done to the hotel with an on-site restaurant. A little noisy in the evening due to music being played in the restaurant but only lasted till 10pm. Hotel was very close to the town of Ganges (5min walk) and the Saturday market was a hit!"

"What a really lovely stay we had here in Maple Bay. The suite is tucked away in its own corner, and overlooking the bay. We felt like we were in our own little getaway haven. The suite was also larger than I was initially expecting from the pictures. It had everything we needed to enjoy exploring the area. Kathy, our host was very accommodating. She kept the hot tub filled up and warm when we weren't at the suite. And was always available for questions. Though, we really had no issues whatsoever while we were here. Everything was great and I'd say, better than we were anticipating. Maple Bay is such a lovely spot to stay, the beach is a short walk away, and driving into Duncan only took 10-12 minutes. Perfect. So grateful for our stay."
