Adjoining bar/restaurant is very pleasant with good food and there is a nice sitting area upstairs outside the room. They will offer some tours--the sunset boat cruise is well worth it, however the "free" boat to Murano delivers you to a glass factory that has a great demo but then tries to sell you glass objects at 20X the cost at nearby shops."

"The property provides a buffet breakfast but does not have a bar or other dining options. Our room was spacious, clean, and furnished in an "antique"style with silk lined walls. Overall good, and location was fine for walking to Rialto Bridge and St. Marks Square."

They even give a list of their personal favorites so it’s like having a local guide before you even leave the hotel room. Complimentary water and prosecco was a great surprise touch.
