Visit Calgary Tower to dine with a rotating view at 4,225 feet (1,288 meters) above sea level, looking out over the glittering city lights. Stand on the glass floor and look down more than 600 feet (180 meters), taking in the views of downtown. Calgary Tower offers the perfect vantage point to orient yourself in the city and beyond.
Get your bearings with a complimentary guided tour. Knowledgeable guides will point out the best tourist spots, from historic monuments and streets, to the Olympic Plaza and out to the Rocky Mountains. At the lobby and the Observation Deck you’ll have the opportunity to view and purchase works from local artists. At the tower’s base, find out what’s on in the city at the Tourism Calgary Information Centre.
Calgary Tower was opened in 1968 and was one of the first members of the World Federation of Great Towers. During the 1988 Winter Olympics, it embodied the Olympic torch, with a huge gas cauldron on the top lighting up the sky. The tower’s distinctive shape not only makes it an iconic part of the Calgary skyline, but also affords it flexibility, allowing it to withstand high winds.
Located 508 feet (155 meters) up is the revolving Sky 360 restaurant, which completes a rotation every 45 minutes at lunch and once per hour at dinner, giving diners an incredible changing view over the city sights. The tower also offers dining closer to the ground at the steakhouse on the second level.
Calgary Tower is located in downtown, on the corner of Ninth Avenue and Centre Street. Several bus routes stop nearby and it’s just a short walk from the tower to downtown train stations. You can also reach the tower on the +15 Skywalk, a public pedestrian walkway 15 feet (4.5 meters) above street level that connects many buildings in the city.
The tower is open daily except Christmas Day, and the Observation Deck is occasionally closed for public functions. The admission fee allows same day re-entry if you show your stamp and receipt.

Everything was just spot on. The hot tubs were far better than the others we tried. Additionally, the staff was super friendly and understanding.
