"Front desk staff was amazing, room was very clean and modern. However, housekeeping knocked on the door at 9am to see if we were leaving. Check out is 11. I went to grab a luggage cart around 10am and housekeeping was outside our door again and she asked if we "were done". I said "no, checkout is at 11am. Can you please give us 10 more minutes?" We felt very rushed to leave and we didn't appreciate that. We left around 10:15, so it's not like we were overstaying. "

"This property was super clean and the staff was super nice! A great safe location as well only 9 minutes from Del Mar beaches and 16 minutes from la jolla! The only reason it is a 4 star rating is the $28 a night parking. When I originally booked the details said "free parking" upon arrival we were astonished that there was a $28 a night parking fee. I would understand if the hotel was in a busy area but it is not. It is in a low traffic corporate area and they have their own big dedicated parking lot. To me it is clear that the property manager is being greedy and attempting to make money. "

"The air conditioning wasn’t very good and also we were in the last room on the far side so we had to drag our luggage a long ways. That was the night of the blackout so we had to leave our room and sit in the parking lot. We didn’t really have time to enjoy any activities.
