"This property was super clean and the staff was super nice! A great safe location as well only 9 minutes from Del Mar beaches and 16 minutes from la jolla! The only reason it is a 4 star rating is the $28 a night parking. When I originally booked the details said "free parking" upon arrival we were astonished that there was a $28 a night parking fee. I would understand if the hotel was in a busy area but it is not. It is in a low traffic corporate area and they have their own big dedicated parking lot. To me it is clear that the property manager is being greedy and attempting to make money. "

"The air conditioning wasn’t very good and also we were in the last room on the far side so we had to drag our luggage a long ways. That was the night of the blackout so we had to leave our room and sit in the parking lot. We didn’t really have time to enjoy any activities. I was thinking it was going to be a magical experience, but it wasn’t early."

"Room was very clean. What I didn't like,: tv needs to be upgraded! Very old model, very dark, could barely see the picture! Other then that, everything else was fine. "

"Overall a good place to stay but the furniture in the room looked a little dated. Our room wasn’t cleaned even though we left the housekeeping needed magnet displayed which also meant we didn’t get more toiletries or fresh towels. The pool areas were good and the hotel is located in a quiet residential area. In the beginning we had issues with tv channels not working that were fixed by a friendly maintenance man but the channels would still occasionally briefly not work. "

"We got the junior suite which we very enjoyed. Room is spacious and clean. Front desk staff Denise was very nice and professional. Strong enough Wifi and great organization on Easter Day with egg hunting events for kids. We didn’t participate but we enjoyed the view and liveliness of it. One down side, we requested amenities but didn’t receive service after a long wait. I had to ask the housekeeping team in the morning for things I asked for the night before."

"I knew the hotel was close to the highway but wasn’t prepared for how loud the road noise was even in the room with the doors closed. We were told no other rooms were available, (and discovered our room phone was non-functional when trying to call the office). We also had loud neighbors with poor soundproofing between the rooms and a large group hanging out loudly in the courtyard at midnight. So, bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Book a pool view room as those are set further back from the highway. My kid enjoyed the pool, and the Windmill Food Hall was convenient next door. "

"Loved how energetic and helpful the staff was and how nice the facility was. The room was wonderful and wished we would have stayed longer. Will definitely come back for another longer stay."
