"Excellent value - the bed was very comfortable and the room in general was of a high standard with a really good bathroom. The bar was welcoming too. Would very happily return, as the cost was extremely reasonable. Highly recommended."

"All the staff were friendly and super helpful. The resident pianist Alan was just fab. He was not only good but made you feel very welcome and spoke personally and passionately about the songs he was playing and gave some history behind them. He played all types of music and even asked the type of music we liked etc so he could play some for us. It was a pleasure to sit and listen to him. Our room was large and very comfortable and having the balcony that wrapped around made the views even better. They could do with a bit of TLC but not so much that it took away how nice they were. We are already planning to revisit but for a little longer as we were only on a stop over before travelling down to Kent. The staff really are an asset. "

"David as always was fantastic and the hotel which has now become a firm favourite was on point. Mustn’t forget the great breakfast ‘healthy option chosen’ all though every option is great. Looking forward to my next visit"
