「We wanted a hotel near Big Sur. This was 40 min away. No wifi in the area so finding it in the dark was near impossible. The listing should give a mile reading on the remote road. Expedia should not consider this big sur. There should be some warnings about how difficult it is to find in the dark. Very poor markings. We drove past 20 min and had trouble finding it. Accommodation very basic.」

「Room was very clean, staff was nice and helpful and we were able to park close to our room. Missed having a jacuzzi but it was not necessary. Would stay here again」

「If paying $400 + per night for a 3-star hotel is your thing, then this hotel is for you. The staff was friendly, but the rooms clearly need updating. My pet peeve was the blackout curtain with a gap in the middle that let the sun hit me right in the eye every morning.」
