「Hotel is beautiful and everything is super chic.. loved our stay, staff very helpful and the areas to chill, drink, eat and relax are good. Swam in pool and lake, also arrived to a beautiful plate of chocolates for our wedding anniversary, lovely treat.. will be back for a girls retreat next time … a wonderful stay .. xxxx 」

「Rooms are comfortable and beds terrific. Young staff could use some hospitality training on how to be more friendly and gracious with guests, or at least a smile. Could have made an effort to be more accommodating- ie arrived just as dinner service ended. Could have offered snacks, nuts, something… Asked about GF breakfast options. Didn’t seem to know so I had to ask item by item… toast? Breakfast meats? Beans?」

「The room is beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Helpful staff and was able to hire us a car to pick us up at the train station. Great breakfast and dinner, highly recommended. 」

「We booked The Relais Cooden beach via Expedia particularly for its location and spa facilities. We had booked the "Cosy double room" because that was all that was left. On arrival we tried to book spa treatments but there were no available bookings during our three night stay. This was disappointing as there was no mention on the Expedia website that you needed to book in advance. Apparently, guests who booked directly with the hotel enjoyed free use of the spa whereas booking through Expedia...
