ãIâve stayed here many times. Rooms are clean, tidy and well looked after. The TV is very small though, so if you want to watch something, it could be a bit of a challenge.
The hotel is in a safe countryside area. I like that thereâs nothing else around, but others might prefer more nearby.
Hot fresh breakfast is good, but the coffee isnât great. Iâd like to see more fruit and yoghurt options as I donât eat a full breakfast.
Iâll happily stay again.

ãExcellent location, beautiful hotel and grounds. Highly recommend it. We stayed while visiting Chatsworth House. It was a great place to stay while in the area!ã
ãDelightful old hilltop inn with commanding views over the Dales.
Friendly efficient staff.
Very well appointed spacious modern room ( Barrel).
Excellent stylish dinner: there is a chef behind the scenes!
Attractive base for walking/ touringã
ãStaff were very friendly and made me feel at home. Very close to a number of walks and an easy bus ride to more. Entire town quite lovely. Would certainly stay here again.ã
ãHelpful & courteous staff made a big impression.
Excellent Supper even on is Sunday night-Grimsby Haddock superb!
No music -relaxing and peaceful dining room .
Outstanding breakfast -great choice & fresh cooked -lovely hostess made the experience one to repeat !
Car parking is plentiful and very convenient straight outside our room ( actually perfect if one had any mobility issues or required safe parking for valuable stock in a van ).ã
