「Fabulous place in a great location, very quiet and safe area and plenty of car parking available overnight with restricted parking during the day. Accommodation was excellent and I will definitely use it again, kitchen was well stocked and the bed very comfy and overall the place was very well done out and clean. Communication with the host was very good additionally.」

「The flight from London-Heahrow (BA) delayed 4.5 hours and my arrival time had to be after midnight (by a retail car), the receptionist was patiently waiting for my arrival and greeted me with a smile. 「This was such a beautiful cottage hotel. The food was excellent. I had the best macaroni and cheese I've ever had. The village has more shopping than you'd expect. It's definitely worth the short drive off the beaten path. And of course it's a filming location for Outlander which makes it extra special. 」

We stayed on a Thursday night and they had live music on for an hour & then karaoke in the bar & restaurant 👍. The food was excellent there was a large selection of Indian food & some traditional dishes ( I had the chicken schnitzel with sauted potatoes & broccoli…v good. I’d also like to mention Sydney the extremely hard working barmaid, she never stopped all night 👏👏👏」
「Lovely gem of a pub with great food, lovely ambience and super-friendly host and staff. The bedroom was clean, comfortable and spacious and at the price point was excellent value for money. Great stop-off point just a few minutes off the motorway. At the price point it is great value. Oh, and the delicious breakfast was carefully prepared and presented. I must sound like a relative or shareholder! 😊」
