"Our 5th trip as a tourist in Boston. We wanted a nice place to stay with a good location but not in the main tourist area where we've stayed in the past. Back Bay is a great location, and this hotel was very good. We got a bigger room to have some space, and we liked the room. Yes, it's an older building that's been refurbished, so the showers are a little older than in brand-new hotels,. but everything worked just fine. The staff was great! The ice machine put out lots of ice. And we liked have the fridge in our room. There is a huge Star Supermarket right across the street, and you. have several restaurants within easy walking distance. Copley Square and 2 historic churces and the amazing Boston Public Library are just one big block away. Boston Commons is about 8 blocks, the St. Charles River and promenade are about 8 blocks the other direction, etc. We would DEFINITELY stay here again."

"Not what I was expecting. It was ok. I will not come back. Staff at the bar and other staff were very rude. Room was outdated. Bathroom was very, very small. Again, it was ok. Staff need training. Would not recommend and will not come back. "

"Very pleasant accommodation in an excellent location. Comfy beds. Beautiful quiet block. Plenty of space for 3 people with convenient kitchenette, dining table and couch. Great shower pressure and hot water. Office staff was responsive and helpful with our needs, including printing out some personal forms we needed. There are a few things worth mentioning that folks should know about but are not deal breakers at all. First - the room floor could use a damp mopping as the kitchen floor was pretty dirty when I ran a paper towel across it. The kitchen was fine but the refrigerator door was not closing well and it would have been helpful to include a dish rack for drying dishes or at least a dish towel. The room was sufficiently clean but the room could use a dusting or wipe down of furniture and walls and window sills every so often. We noticed cigarette butts inside the window sill. And lastly, you should be aware that Copley House consists of several properties within a few blocks radius of the main building at 239 W Newton. You will not know which property you are assigned to or where you should park until 24 hours prior to check in. To avoid any last minute surprises or scrambles while you are en route, make sure you check the details of your check in advance of checking in so you are not caught off guard and end up at the wrong property or have to secure a discounted parking voucher at the last minute. Just a heads up, that's all. We'd definitely stay there again."

"Great place to stay in middle of town, right on the Freedom Trail. Great place to sleep, very clean and modern ,but rooms and bathrooms are extremely small. "

"Breakfast was a joke. Staff was lovely. $4.55 for a bottle of coke that I had to check out payment for myself is ridiculous. Your elevator inspection has expired "
