「The airport transport was nearly one hour late... There instruction was to send me the license plate with no further comments. Another guy at the airport explained it to me and looked for my taxi. 「This is a lovely and comfortable place. The space is organized in a slightly awkward way, but it's completely workable. The host is great at communications, and accommodated us with an early check-in. The small streets of this neighborhood are quiet and well cared for, and the machiya is very close to Kenroku-en Garden. Other areas are a short walk away. We very much appreciated being able to stay here.」

「Great area with an excellent restaurant across the street. On the route for the hop on hop off bus. Very clean and lots of room. Kitchen is very well equipped and beds were very comfortable even though they were the traditional Japanese style. Bathrooms upstairs and down. Great property for a larger group or family. 」
