Archaeological Museum of Xochimilco

The young woman that performed the housekeeping responsibilities on my floor (8th floor), I believe her name is Yessica, was wonderful. She did an excellent job every time that we asked for service. That goes a long way when staying at a hotel. She's a gem for the hotel.

The staff does the best that they can, all things considered. We booked a stay for 3 nights and ended up staying one and finding another hotel. First, we were awoken by a fight or something in the hotel. I know that the staff can't do much about that, but it was an issue. Then there was the lack of air conditioning. Many of the rooms don't have much airflow (they face a small interior courtyard), so opening the windows doesn't help much. We were on the fourth floor which also didn't help for the heat. But here was the kicker: Although the windows opened, there were no screens...so we were pestered by one or more mosquitos all night. My wife was eaten alive and I was unable to sleep with the thing buzzing my ear. So the choice was either sleep in a sauna with the windows closed, or mosquitos. Needless to say, we switched to another hotel so as to salvage the rest of the trip.

Everything was great! The staff was very respectful and it helped us to locate the main attractions in CDMX they even helped us warning which zones were safe. We walked a lot… even from El Angel de la Independencia to the hotel and we felt very safe.
