"Such a beautiful place to stay! The Kaiseki experience and the traditional Japanese setting, we loved it! Staff is very friendly and even helped us to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Not to mention the amazing views while you are soaking in onsen. "

"We had a lovely time here! We were travelling by public transport, and this spot is a little of out of the way, but they sent a shuttle to the train station and it was easy to arrive. It was not clear from their website that the restaurant would not be open for dinner, and the closest restaurant by foot (other than McDonald's) was a 30 minute walk away. That was no problem; we had a nice walk, a great dinner, and really loved the onsen!"

We used mostly taxis to get around. They were very convenient, as public transport was not. One thing to note about houses in cities of Japan - the stirs in the house are steep"
