"The room was beautiful and clean. It had everything I could need. The kitchen was well-equipped with many appliances, dishes, utensils, cooking tools, etc. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff was amazing. They were so friendly and helpful at all times of the day (even at 6:45 in the morning). I valet-parked my car, and all of the valet workers were great as well. It is just about a block from access to the riverwalk, and there are many restaurants within walking distance. I felt safe at the hotel. I was on the 9th floor, and yes, you can hear traffic from the street. However, it did not keep me up at night. I actually enjoyed hearing the horse-drawn carriages go down the street. When I return to San Antonio, I will definitely plan to stay at the Maverick again."
