「夕日が綺麗。大自然の中。夜はなんか動物がうろうろしてる。星が綺麗。蚊がいない。贅沢な時間が過ごせる。 部屋でご飯を食べると、次の日外にあるゴミ箱が動物に荒らされる。 夕食は350くらいでSossusvlei Lodge で食べられる。朝食もここ。 」

「The cleaning at this property is done superficially. They need to do a deep clean as there is dirt in the corners, smell from the sheets and blanket, dust on applicances and slime in the kettle. There was a service door to the bathroom which isn't itself a problem, but I could smell cigarette smoke coming through every so often in the morning.」

「Die Hotelbesitzer waren leider sehr unhöflich und respektlos mir und meiner Familie gegenüber, sodass ich wirklich niemanden diese Anlage empfehlen kann. Bedingt durch sehr laute Arbeiten an der Grundstücksaußenseite erkundigte ich mich bei der Rezeption, wie lange diese noch andauern würden. Ich wurde dreist belogen, dass dies staatliche Arbeiter seien und das Hotel keinen Einfluss darauf hätte. Da ich wissen wollte wie lange die Arbeiten noch gehen, sprach ich mit den Arbeitern, die mich an...

「Lovely location within very short walking distance of the centre of Franschhoek. Well appointed Cottage with all amenities and back up power available during loadshedding. Very spacious and a nice verandah outside. Jo was extremely friendly and looked after us very well. 」

「This was a quick stop to our Great White Diving excursion! The place was perfect, big kitchen, big fridge, big everything. The apartment has a place to good braai and heated beds when it is cold. There is a tube and shower. Hot water is great. The area is safe and nice. Few good restaurants around the area, but we preferred to eat in since it was so nice. Check in was great, there is a gated entrance where you can leave the car. Highly recommended! 」

「We arrived at the Rivernest Boutique Cottages, and were told that they had been overbooked (though we had booked online several months prior) and that we were to be moved. We were sent to a different hotel a few minutes drive away, and given a room. The hotel we were re-booked at was cheaper than Rivernest, and we did not receive a credit or a refund of any kind. We had heard good things about this place, but unfortunately got to experience none of them. Good luck!」
