「My fifth time at the Grantham Arms in 4 years and it's always excellent. Lovely staff, fun, clean rooms and really comfortable beds. What's not to love about a place that maintains such consistently good standards? Breakfast was also beautifully cooked as well.」

Loftsome bridge although off a main road for convenience is lovely and quite due to it being a good distant back from it, so you get the best of both worlds a good nights sleep and connectivity to all the local attractions with York not being too far away. 「Clean room staff and food 」

「The setting is beautiful and the staff amazing. We took our 2 Spaniels with us and stayed in a dog friendly suite. Room was huge and surprisingly warm considering it was a converted Castle. Breakfast in the morning was decent and you are within 25 mins of York. All in all a great trip and we will 100% stay here again. 」

「We had a fantastic two night stay at this hotel which had everything we needed from a comfortable bed, clean and well equipped rooms to a breakfast that could not be faulted. This hotel was well located for us with a Toby Carvery next door, with a huge shopping complex approx 5 minutes drive away, with all your well named high street stores M&S, Primark etc. even a Cinema and bowling alley and a varied choice of restaurants. If travelling into York, leave the car at the hotel, an Uber to York...

The food in Tykes for the evening meal was amazing, the best pork I've ever had! Breakfast was lovely, a perfect place to stay, we will be back! 」
