"Perfect walkable spot in the heart of Charleston! Loved the art museum experience within our own hotel, including an artist's ongoing oil painting that we would walk by every day near the lobby. Breakfast isn't super hearty but a muffin and a piece of fruit to get you going for the day. The staff is attentive and we loved the evening cookie delivery!"

"This place was a small operation where the few folks know well the usual guest needs and handle them quite efficiently. The valet service was great. Everyone is friendly. It is a comfortable place with a B&B feel. Our room was not small for being right in the center of the city. Our room and bathroom were clean and always replenished with drinking water. I would say even for not having a pool, this is still better value in town after having seen the top known luxury hotels across from each...

"Bella is a nice, newer hotel with contemporary room decor, nice beds, bathrooms etc. The valet is, almost mandatory garage parking. Our walk to the center of the French Quarter was about 1/2 mile. The staff was super helpful."

"This is a great hotel. The staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was the nicest suite we’d ever been in. The room was huge and very well appointed. Whenever we are back in Charleston, this is where we are staying. Can’t recommend it highly enough. "

"We had corner room by the kitchen and elevator.. it was very plain and small. My sister had corner room to the left as you entered the house. It was very roomy and decorated so beautifully! We both paid same price .. I felt we didn’t have equality in rooms.. !! I found the breakfast to be very good and the afternoon cheese and wine to be very nice as well as the goodies and drinks provided in our rooms. Staff was awesome!"
