"This was our favourite hotel of our trip! Incredibly spacious and wonderful amenities, including the ability to use hair straighteners and curlers. The bakery in the lobby makes delicious food and the rooftop bar is super cozy! The hotel is on a bit of a slope but easy walking distance to Lawsons/7-eleven and train station. The location is perfect for acess to Gion and the Nishiki market. Would absolutely stay again!"

"The only thing i didn’t really like was the breakfast buffet. The variety of food was not as expected and a lot of the food was cold and looked like it was there a while. But there were enough choices of restaurants near by and food court at the mall next to the hotel. The location of the hotel was best. "

"Fantastic view of the mountain and the city from our bedroom. We were on the 9th floor and we relished the space and the comfortable setting of this room. Very good beds as well. Amenities bar by the reception offering team coffee and all the fixings for the bathroom. Only thing I would like is a toaster oven to cook some toasts and pizza once in a while! Area is very quiet and safe and this was one of our favorite stay in Japan for the two weeks we were there."

"The Royal Park Hotel and Kyoto is an excellent accommodation in a very good neighborhood. The rooms are very nicely decorated and modern. The bed is very comfortable and the amenities are refreshed every day. One can also decide on whether one wishes to have the bedsheets changed every 3 days or more frequently. The breakfast has many choices and plentiful. It is worth the price. The neighborhood has plenty of choices of restaurants and is very close to the Nishiki Market, which is worth a visit."
