"Hotel Uzbekistan may need a little TLC to bring it back to its original grandeur, but as it is we have no complains at all. Location is central and easy accessible from TAS airport, the Amir Temur metro station is right downstairs and it was very convenient for getting around the city. We were on the 15th floor and the room was absolutely quiet at night. The 4 roomy elevators worked fine. We had a small balcony and the room itself was larger than your average modern hotel room. The King size bed was a bit firm but comfy and the black out drapes were nice too. There was a sitting area by the entrance of the room with 2 arm chairs, a table and a lamp. Also a desk with a chair, a mini fridge with water bottles provided every day. There was also an electric kettle, cups and tea bags. There was plenty of storage, a big wardrobe and a chest drawer. Housekeeping cleaned the room everyday quickly and we would find it tidied up when we were back mid afternoon. Toiletries and slippers were provided. The buffet breakfast was varied, delicious and plentiful. My vegetarian husband had many options to choose from every morning. The bar had good service and a variety of drinks at fair prices. It was very pleasant to stop by for a cold beer after doing walking tours all day. All in all, we were very happy with our stay at hotel Uzbekistan, the staff was helpful, friendly and polite. Everyone spoke really good English. We would definitely stay there again."

"Very nice new hotel with comfortable rooms. Reception staff were very helpful and excellent. However breakfast is very basic and there was only one young lad attending who spent more time on his mobile then serving guests. "

"Very convenient location, walkable to many shops and restaurants. The rooms are older and have not been updated in a while, and the hotel was under construction at the time we stayed, but the amazing staff and the excellent breakfast made up for it and I would stay again."

"Отличное классное место, безопасно, уютно, тихо, комфортно. У всех разные запросы. Но мне понравилось всё и уединение. Никто не мешал и не навязывал свои услуги. По запросу все моменты разрешались. т.к. девочки с ресепшена доступны 24/7. Можно Ватсапп. Но у меня был телеграм.Ну и я предпочитала спуститься воочию. Маленький нюанс.. не было электрочайника.. но я и не говорила,иначе бы не было мне причины пойти в кофейни и выпить вкусный кофе. Ну и с телевизором мне особо не было надобности разбираться,как он работает,т.к. я не телевизор приехала смотреть. Чистая постель,чистые полотенца.. шампунь,мыло,гель-душ,туал.бумага. В общем.. если чего-то вам показалось,что нет или не хватает.. то всё сообщаете девочкам на ресепшене и всё разрешится быстрейшим путем. Достопримечательности! Отдельная тема. Такая красота.. можно пешком всё обойти,если любите ходить. Мечеть,река,мосты,музей,и вообще жилые районы это какая-то сказка. В общем рекомендую. И след.раз обязательно здесь и остановимся.уже родное."
