Very basic accomodation with a good breakfast. Rooms are sparse, no fridge, kettle, coffee or tea. Breakfast is all cold, even the eggs, but there is quite a lot to choose from. Front desk staff are courteous but not helpful.

This property is convenient located in the city center. There is a subway station nearby connecting to the main tourist attractions. Taxi rides also are very reasonable. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Breakfast selections were always fresh and varied every morning. The place and neighbourhood are very quiet. And the room and facilities are immaculately clean. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay.

Great staff. The lady at the reception spoke English, which was very helpful as I do not speak Uzbek or Russian. They were very kind and helpful. Not much else to add. Great place overall.

Our stay at this hotel in Tashkent was unfortunately a very negative experience. From the moment we checked in, we were met by a receptionist who was unpleasant and unwelcoming. We were repeatedly asked to show a receipt from our previous hotel stay, and our passports were checked over and over again in a way that felt unnecessary and suspicious. This continued even after I had already provided my passport to confirm our reservation, making the check-in process stressful and unprofessional. The room did not meet expectations either. The bathroom smelled strongly of urine and feces, which is completely unacceptable. The hotel’s website claims they provide daily cleaning, but during our three-day stay, no one came to clean the room. The breakfast was also disappointing and far from what is shown in the pictures online. The selection and quality were much lower than expected. Overall, we found the staff to be unfriendly, especially at the front desk. The level of service was far below what one should reasonably expect. We unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel based on our experience.

Traveling to Uzbekistan for the first time by myself was both scary and challenging for me because I couldn’t speak Russian or the local language at all. When I got off the plane, I felt like I had entered a completely different world from the people walking past me. But as soon as the taxi brought me to Diamond Tashkent Hotel, I immediately felt that it was a safe place for me. The front desk staff, especially James, were professional and spoke excellent English. Even though Baxit couldn’t speak much English, he made a great effort to help, and that meant a lot. I was also touched by the kindness and attentiveness of the housekeeping team—especially LOLA, whose smile reminded me of a kind-hearted elder, and Ilvira. I’m deeply thankful to both of these hardworking housekeepers during my stay. Lastly, deep in my heart, I truly hope I’ll have the chance to return and stay at Diamond Tashkent Hotel again in the future.
