"The room was clean. There was no staff on duty. Anything you needed, you had to go across a very busy street to get to because they didn't have enough staff to keep the office open. Their sister hotel was across the street (Howard Johnson) and they handled everything from check in/out, to additional supplies, to breakfast. I've never seen this before! The few staff I dealt with were courteous. Wifi was an issue. The price was reasonable and the location to downtown was very good. Would I stay there again? I'm not sure."

"The hard boiled eggs and coffee were good didn't try any other breakfast items. Room only had a very small round stool, no chair. Doors are very loud when they close. Over all it was just ok."

"I only needed the room for a night, and really just a few hours of even being in the room other than sleep, but it was perfect. Couple of great places within walking distance, huge and clean space, comfortable, and had everything needed and then some."

We were hoping for a serene, peaceful opportunity to decompress and recenter our lives after a tumultuous year. We could not have found a more perfect place than SWC. It was everything we hoped for and so much more. The cottage was immaculate and beautifully decorated. It contained every item and convenience we could possibly imagine. It is situated in an area that provides for many beautiful and interesting excursions while, at the same time, offers complete tranquility in the cottage itself. We, honestly, could not have dreamed up anything more perfect. Our sincere thanks to our host, John, and everyone associated with our stay at Serenity Woods Cottage."
