"The air wouldn’t stay on so the room got warm pretty fast, therefore sleeping was uncomfortable. There were a few random critters in the room. One was a spider crawling on me the first night we arrived. I was headed to bed so that was alarming. Overall the view was beautiful and the stay was ok! We had a good time overall."

"I had to change rooms as soon as I stepped foot into first room due to the noise from the pool in the evening. Second room was basically clean. However, the carpet was atrocious-filthy. The room smelled like urine every time the AC turned on. (I had to buy febreze). No one cleaned the rooms during my stay"

"Room was ok but the bathroom was terrible no hair dryer no Kleenex no place to put suitcases had to pay for ice pool was nice but the rest of the property was run down and nasty no good place to walk a dog on property had to leave property for breakfast wouldn’t stay there again. "This is an older hotel. The rooms have been somewhat updated. They are clean and function fine. It is just not fancy. But the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The couch is more institutional-like something you would find in a Dr. office. But put a blanket on it and it did it's job fine. The property itself could have used a little more cleaning as far as trash on the walkway etc. Parking is an issue but not horrible. If you have a long truck or oversized vehicle...don't even go into the garage in the basement. If you are used to fancy decorations this is not the place for you. If you just need a means to the beach and a clean place to sleep, it is perfect. Beach front road is very busy. But there is a light right in front of the property. That was great because you could easily pull out going either way. There are beach chairs available for rent at the beach. They are not included with the room. I paid around $50 for two chairs and an umbrella for the day. There are not a lot of chairs around the pool but they have very nice cushions on them and are comfortable. Overall I was pleased with our stay...especially for the cost. Under same circumstances I would probably stay here again."

"Room was not ready until 7 for a 4 pm check in. Had to chase down towels several times during the stay. Trash was not picked up and we had to do it ourselves. Had a charge added and will have to spend time getting it cleared. Loved the location and the place was charming. It is an older property and there are no elevators so expect to climb stairs."

"Sheets were rough and scratchy. Lights and fans were not functioning. Housekeeping never came. Heavy wear visible on all finishes through out hotel. Chairs and benches in the dining area are cracked and peeling. Happy hour and snacks that they promote as a perk is a bowl of pretzels that they fill once. Gym equipment is minimal and treadmill is wobbly. Only one desk agent for check in and check out so a lot of waiting. It’s basically just a place to sleep near the beach. Could have paid less at a number of other places but usually this brand is nice. Save your money and stay elsewhere"
