"Amazing stay! All the staff were very kind and helpful. We got the double with the bigger bathtub on the balcony. The room was very clean and spacious. There's beautiful garden in the bottom floor which was perfect for a night stroll after dinner. The kaiseki dinner was good. The breakfast buffet was amazing. There's also a shuttle that takes you to hook station. "

"Lovely mountain retreat, very stylish. Unfortunately unable to accommodate our 12year old daughter - even when we booked the room for 3 people. There were only 2 beds provided so she would have to sleep between us. The hotel refused to put up a futon for her so she had to sleep on the chairs. Shocking, seeing that all the other hotels we stayed in provided a bed or a sofa bed for her."

Including your own footbath out doors and a full private onsen that opens up to the views! 10/10 can not recommend this place enough! "Very nice boutique hotel. Staff are friendly, eager to help and speak English well. Parking is attached and free. Hotel lobby, restaurant and common areas are very well designed, modern and tasteful with many nice details. Room is super comfortable and feels luxurious and spacious. Nice view to ocean and a sculptural park. Dining is very very good. Besides the great food, restaurant staff are amazing! The onsen is nice and clean. "Everything on Fufu Hakone was excellent except the spa and massage. I booked the recommended spa & massage package of 120 minutes costing 20,000 Yen, but was only given the service of 75 minutes including changing time, bathing and sand spa which lasted 25 minutes, the massage was only 50 minutes. I felt I was being short changed after the session and raised question to the massage lady without any acceptable answer. "
