"Loved that we were so close to Bunratty castle. We walked and there were lots of families out and about and it felt extremely safe. The owner of the property was very nice and obliging. With the exception of the hotel experience the little town and castle were delightful.

Only thing did not like was staff was unaware of location of ice machines. Called front desk and they said there was one on 2nd and 4th floor. They also said the ice buckets were underneath. We were on the 4th floor and there was no ice machine.

When we told people this was our next stop, most said it wasn't worth stopping. However, it turned out to be an ideal stopover point for us on our way to Galway,
