On the last day before I checked out, I was taking a shower when part of the ceiling suddenly collapsed. A section of the ceiling fell onto the floor. It was heavy, and I could have been seriously injured. I am very unhappy about this situation. The shower itself was also broken. I have photos documenting the damage.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was small but comfortable. The 24-hour coffee/tea bar is a great bonus. The breakfast is delicious with plenty of options. The hotel is in a great location—within walking distance to the most famous sights and museums. I would definitely stay at the Ikonic in the future.

Excellent location. On pest side. It was during the heatwave that we arrived. Air con was perfect, very strong.
We were on a cruise with Viking which had booked 2 days for us. We extended one extra day, requesting that we stay in the same room and it was accommodated. Thank you. Viking reservation included breakfast and the spread was extremely expansive and robust . Wonderful hotel.
