Hontoon Island State Park Romantic Vacations

We didn't try the breakfast or hot tub. The room was satisfactory regarding cleanliness, and the staff was fine, but while the main building was really nice and the pool was great, the room we were put in was old and not remodeled. It had popcorn ceilings so low we could touch them without trying (and we're 5'4"). The paint on the walls was that old motel yellow. So the room was very disappointing despite that they showed remodeled, updated rooms on the website. Parking was outside the room but it still cost either $30 or $40/night.

Hotel was decently nice but the check in process was not great

The tv was 9 years old, but the breakfast was very, very good every piece of food was fresh and they changed the menu every day and I liked the customer service responded to me well with my phone number, and they work on the phones in the rooms. The shelf in bathroom already fell over when I got there and they were missing some metal stuff to put in there to keep it from tipping over, so it was hard to find the blow dryer for my hair which I don't use except I'm in a hotel just because it's already there and the shower gel were all very nice and high quality. I appreciated all of them.

Nice large airy property. No pressure from staff, just simple service. B-Line diner service and food quality were excellent.

The hotel was great but we found a cockroach next to the sofa, and we were with out baby and walking to the parking lot was a nightmare because they only had stairs not a ramp to go with the stroller or an elevator to help us go down, they were elevators but way far from main entrance

I would have liked the property to be better painted. One of the rooms had paint with stains, and the internet went down. Other than that, everything was good. Oh, and the main pool closes too early.

This hotel is almost a perfect hotel. I’m sure there’s flaws, I haven’t seen them yet. Dining, pool, spa, Disney proximity and the rooms are so spacious!! I really love this hotel. We especially
