Things to remember when booking this hotel... The "Spa" is not included in your stay and located in the basement. Its a different company entity "Evergreen Day Spa" and charge $15 p/d for pool usage. Hotel is close proximity to hospital therefore be prepared to hear sirens all night long. Breakfast buffet is $25 per person Monday-Friday 6.30am-9.30am so time it well. Food options are basically next door on either side but when in doubt - theres a Foodworks also. Transport was fairly straightforward to navigate but if you like me - wandering in the city will guarantee to find hidden gems.

The room was overall great but the bathrooms were a little but of a let down given the “luxury” description the hotel uses. The shower door wouldn't close. There was quite a lot of mould in both bathrooms

Great location but the place could use some update. Due to its close proximity to Brisbane conference center, the price is impacted by conferences. Avoid conference week and other major city event such as rugby tournaments. otherwise you are going to pay 5 star hotel price for this (3.5 star) hotel.

All good in the room,not good views from room

We were on a stay-cay in Brisbane for several days to attend appointments. We chose this property mainly on location - near public transport and all the shops we required. It did not disappoint in this regard, and I would definately recommend the property if location is the main concern. On the whole, our stay was good, and the room we had was perfect for our requirements. However, it was quite run down - stains on the carpet and bedding (including the fabric bedhead), chips out of the paint, scuff marks on the walls etc. We didn't need to use all the amenities in the room - washing machine, cookware etc - but it seems quite well stocked. What was a little off-putting was all the passive-aggressive notices around the room. Break it, you pay for it; ask for more, you pay for it. That sort of thing. The property has a gym and pool, but there was a notice in the lifts saying it was out of bounds until further notice. Again, quite passive-aggressive. The garbage chute is an accident waiting to happen. Again, a notice instructs you to make sure the bag is purshed through; this was rather difficult for me, and I'm glad I'm not a little shorter, older or weaker. But like I said, it suited our needs perfectly and we would probably stay there again.

Good location, lots of good restaurants as well

It was wonderful great facilities, staff were very helpful and went the extra mile to make the stay extra special.

Room was large and clean. View facing the review and city centre was wonderful. Counter staff during check in and check outs, as well as the valets, were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if I return to Brisbane!
