Beach Cities Orange County Cheap Vacations

One of the best mini vacations I've ever taken!

The rooms in this motel have recently been remodeled and are very clean and comfortable. The exterior of the motel was being repaired and painted during our stay and so should soon look good as well. Parking was plentiful and convenient and seemed very safe and secure. This is a two floor property, stairs are required to access the second floor (I don't believe they have an elevator). Unfortunately, the only toiletries provided are very small, waxy bars of soap and shampoo in packets (like ketchup from a fast food restaurant) which were of very poor quality. We had to go to a local drug store to get something usable. Most hotels now use soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower, that would have been greatly preferable.

This place is clean and the staff is amazing! It’s the kind of place you stay at if you’re just going there to sleep at night—way better and cleaner than a typical motel stay. However, we were traveling with kids and had a downstairs room. We stayed for 3 nights, and 2 of those nights were rough because of the people upstairs. They were up until around 2:45 AM one night, and the kids couldn’t sleep. It honestly sounded like they were moving furniture around! Our recommendation would be to choose an upstairs room.

Liked that it was close to In N Out restaurant and freeway was a plus. Didn't like that the ice machine did not work, feces throughout the property and in front of the office, certain channels did not work on the television, stains on bed sheets and towels.
