Madeira Island Beach Vacations

We made a last-minute booking at this hotel. We would have preferred a room for our entire party but at such short notice this wasn’t possible. The rooms we were given were spacious and clean. It’s very convenient for the airport bus and the red route of the City Bus Tours. A great location with several supermarkets and dining options. One of our party had a birthday and we were given a bottle of sparkling wine, which was a really lovely touch. Thank you!

Amazing place and outstanding staff. Andre, in particular, was exceptionally helpful welcoming from the moment we arrived and consistently proactive throughout my stay. He anticipated what we might need, offered thoughtful recommendations, and followed up to make sure everything was perfect. The rest of the team mirrored that same warm, professional attitude: quick to greet, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely proud of their work. It’s rare to find a hotel where the service feels both efficient and personal, this one absolutely delivers, thanks to people like Andre.

Friendly stuff and quite clean and relaxing, the hotel located in sunniest area in Madeira Parking space is provided as well

We enjoyed our time at this beautiful resort which made a great base for exploring the west side of the island. The room, pools, beach area, restaurants and helpful staff combined for a wonderful stay. We split our time on Madeira between Funchal and Calheta which gave us two different, but equally great experiences and allowed us to more easily explore the entire island.

great hotel and all the staff were amazing Bit hilly but buggies very useful room and swim up pool lovely preference club lounge great and lots of choices of drinks and snacks tried to majority of specialist restaurants and enjoyed them all main bar a problem with long wait times to get served but enjoyed trying all the options which were well made by experienced staff on checkout appears someone used the shuttle bus into capital and charged to our room, were not forced to pay but a not a nice experience to prove we never used the bus as we had a car

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Albatroz Beach & Yacht Club. We received a warm welcome. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making every effort to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We had a lovely room with everything we needed. The pool in the sea is unique, and the food was excellent. We were even offered a shuttle service without having to ask. I highly recommend the Albatroz Beach & Yacht Club to everyone, and it will definitely be my first choice again on my next visit to Madeira. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
