「Wir sind angekommen und haben ein Zimmer direkt an der Straße mit zwei kaputten Fensterscheiben bekommen. Am liebsten wären wir gleich wieder abgereist. Das Restaurant im Hotel gibt es nicht. Zum Essen hätten wir noch einmal das Haus verlassen müssen, mit dem Mietwagen, im Dunkeln, nachdem wir seit 14 Stunden auf den Beinen waren und bei Madeiras Straßen, no way. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir um ein anderes Zimmer gebeten und hatten tatsächlich Glück. Ein Zimmer nicht an der Straße, mit Balkon...

Um es freundlich zu formulieren: es ist eine stilistische Zeitreise in die 70er/80er.🙂 Das Frühstücksbuffet hat mich dagegen sehr positiv überrascht - sehr reichhaltig mit verschiedenen Brotsorten, Obst, Gemüse. Einzig die Nescafé-Kaffeemaschine finde ich unpassend. Frisch gebrüht und am Tisch serviert bevorzuge ich da eher.」
