「You won’t regret staying here! One of the best beds I’ve slept while traveling. Full kitchen. Access to washer and dryer. It felt great to get out of Funchal and be somewhere more ‘relaxing.’ With that said, you still have access to restaurants / market, etc. Additionally, there is so much to do in the area. 「Moldy lower level with damp sheets and pillows. Shower has been leaking for years (see Google reviews). Lower level woodstove broken and unusable. Lower level cold and unhealthy therefore, so our daughter slept upstairs, sharing a room with her brother and his wife (with a mattress on the floor). Host provided now, dry sheets for her but not a dry pillow. The nightly scratching/pecking in the ceilings kept us awake. Rats? 「Property was in a great location, clean, welcoming, and a bargain. Slightly difficult to find the first time then was easy sailing. Communication from host was top notch. Only difficulty i experienced was adjusting to the height of ceilings. I struck my head routinely on the sloped ceilings, between rooms, and especially bathroom. I am approximately 71.5 inches/182cm for reference. My daughter at 63 inches/160cm was fine. All in all we enjoyed our stay!」
