The rooms from 24 up are on the upper hill and are closer to the pool and have astonishing views, either over the ocean and Porto Santo, or over Santana, with mountain and ocean. Hard to decide. The food at restaurant is better than many Funchal ones. The only draw back is the fact that the add stated they have microwave, coockware, and dishes, but they had in the room only a kettle. "This was an amazing property and area. The host Paula was so accommodating and very responsive whenever we had a question. I can't say enough about how beautiful São Vicente is. Perfect spot with plenty of restaurants and a grocery store for all your needs."

"Loved the location, cleanliness and vibe of the hotel with fantastic pools and all staff were great. Only downside was limited parking and I was only able to get a space at the hotel on 1 of 5 days, all other days I had to search for on street parking around 500m away from the hotel. Not ideal but aware there isn’t much can be done about it due to the central location."

"A 5 star resort , great spa too. Indoor pools, hot tub and steam room were serien. Our massage therapist was knowledgeable and friendly as well. The main outdoor pool is massive and water warm. The breakfast buffet is outstanding . The staff were always polite and spoke various languages fluently. Our room was very large with a terrific shower. I loved their optional pillow selection as well. The cleaning staff folded our clothes too daily. A nice touch. There are plenty of great restaurants close to the hotel, all reasonably priced and served up good food options. Overall I’d recommend this facility. "
