「This is not the Ritz Carlton, but it doesn’t have to be. Super staff, beautiful location on the edge of delightful little bay. Views to die for, pool, better than average breakfast. The furnishings are older, but not worn, and the place is very clean. Great value for money.」

La vue de notre chambre était magnifique, surtout au lever du soleil où pouvait admirer le "montain glow". Le déjeuners inclut était composé d'ingrédients frais et variés, comme les fruits du jardins et le yogourt maison. Nous y avons passé deux nuits et on aurait voulu rester plus longtemps! 」

「The location was perfect at the sea, we had a room with a seaview. Personnel was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with many various dishes. We liked everything else except a couple of cockroaches we saw in the room two times during our stay. 」

「This place was amazing! Friendly staff, good food, proper drinks, clean room, everything. The only downside is that you cannot get drinks that are not on their menu, but that's okay they have a variety of options that were wonderful.」

「Nice place to stay outside of the hustle/bustle of Funchal, close to hikes. Construction on beachfront supposed to be done by early summer according to locals. Great restaurants, bar and bakery on the street for evening options, but a bit limited for longer stays. Hot tub was really nice set up, but had wildly ranging temperatures from 32 degrees Celsius to 47 at one point, so was often not really usable.
