Everyone - everyone - of the staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable, great balcony. One complaint is the Muzak throughout the entire property. At breakfast, in the lobby, at the pool. So loud that I couldn't have a conversation at breakfast. Pool area music came blasting on at 6am for 15 minutes, then someone noticed. Then was on until 10pm. They did turn it down when I asked one night. But, I just don't get it, ruined the vibe of an otherwise very classy place.

Loved this property! Very nice amenities. Parking was a breeze, we were able to find free street parking for the entirety of our stay. We felt safe and it was close to the freeway and major attractions. We would stay again for sure.

I booked this hotel based on pictures look very clean and beautiful… with 4.4 rating overall love it all lobby and outside area….but the rooms were not that clean even bathrooms not clean I had two kids carpet was so dirty and bed board was cracked I thought I book the best room in this hotel but not like the rooms at all. Especially if you are taking kids.

I loved this hotel! Stayed here for sadly only one night. It’s so aesthetic the room was cute and clean. The staff was so friendly especially Maclain who was working the rooftop bar (it’s lovely!!). He made my experience so memorable he was the best! Close to little Italy and the airport.

The hotel was extremely clean, the room was exactly what we paid for, friendly staff, and great location in the heart of little Italy.

Our stay at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar was comfortable and convenient. The property is beautifully landscaped and feels upscale without being pretentious. The room was clean and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed, quiet atmosphere, and a pleasant view. Staff were courteous and responsive to requests, though some interactions could be improved for consistency.

Staff was great, although the housekeeping crew could be a little loud, which was an issue because the rooms aren't very soundproof. My main complaint was that the A/C unit malfunctioned around 9:00 pm and sounded like a jet was landing in my room. As result, i didn't get much sleep that night. However, the next day the staff addressed it right away and got it fixed. It would have been nice to get a little knocked off my bill for a bad night, but I didn't press the issue. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Despite a night of interrupted sleep, I would stay there again.

We love this resort for the last 15 years. Everything is so beautiful there and the spa is a once in a lifetime experience. On our last stay we were disappointed to always be redirected to different departments for help. We eventually insisted that staff pick up their phones and request help instead of outsourcing us and making us walk everywhere for simple requests.
