「We loved staying in our Bluebird Cottage! Check-in and check-out were super fast and easy, the staff were helpful and friendly, parking was right next to our cottage, and the grounds were immaculate. It was in a great location near lots of little shops and amazing restaurants, and the closest place to stay if you're going to the Idyllwild Renaissance Faire! I am only rating it 4 stars though because our room smelled pretty bad. It almost smelled like pee and light mold and we had to air it out...

「Quiet and serene. Nice place to unwind. The lodge definitely needs some remodel, very outdated. Electric stove only had 2 burners working. The cabin was advertised for 5 people but had only 4 sleeping spots. Additional mattress was provided upon request that had to be placed on the floor. The bathtub was clogged and water drained very slowly. Luckily, we only stayed 2 nights and we were willing to overlook all these minor inconveniences. As a first-time visitor to the area, I expected at least a general location or address ahead of time so I could plan my trip and know where I was heading. Unfortunately, the hosts refused to provide any address until right before check-in at 3PM. While I understand safety and privacy concerns, not giving guests any sense of location in advance makes it very difficult to plan, especially when traveling to an unfamiliar city. 「When I told them that the bathtub plug was broken and hot water was not filling up, they said they would come to fix it in 30 minutes. However, no one came. As a result, I was not able to use the bathtub. Also, I cannot use the heating. There is a wood stove, but there is not enough wood.
