「Inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Rooms are VERY dark and there isn't much lighting in the room. Room had an odd smell, so we left the windows open for 2 days. Carpet had pulled threads in a couple of places. Had to get on the twin bed to turn a/c on and off. Never did get the heater to work. Cobwebs in corners. The best part was the owner was quick to respond to letting us know how to work the a/c and when we locked ourselves out.」

The place has a series of ponds outside of the rooms and there is like a swarm of mosquitos. We literally opened and closed the door to our suite and had like 20 mosquitos inside the room. 「I had a frustrating experience with this stay. As a first-time visitor to the area, I expected at least a general location or address ahead of time so I could plan my trip and know where I was heading. Unfortunately, the hosts refused to provide any address until right before check-in at 3PM. While I understand safety and privacy concerns, not giving guests any sense of location in advance makes it very difficult to plan, especially when traveling to an unfamiliar city. 「Bring your own firewood. Easy walk to town. Rustic but affordable. We would of liked a table and two chairs, we stayed in the redwood. The bed was comfortable.」

「When I told them that the bathtub plug was broken and hot water was not filling up, they said they would come to fix it in 30 minutes. However, no one came. As a result, I was not able to use the bathtub. Also, I cannot use the heating. There is a wood stove, but there is not enough wood. The entrance door is not properly installed, so a draft comes in and it is cold.」
