West Side Romantic Vacations

The hotel is in an excellent location - right next to a train stop, and great for walking to many attractions and restaurants. It's loud right outside the door, but not in the hotel. The hotel is an old historic building, which we really like. We sat at the bar and had a drink one night, which was fun. We didn't eat anything, so can't review the food. We appreciated the free coffee every morning, and the lemon water available each day. The room was fine - clean, and everything you need except for possibly more hooks in the bathroom for towels, etc. We had so much fun talking to the front desk associate, Beverly. She was so friendly and helpful, recommending and booking a gangster tour, and recommending restaurants.

We were visiting for the weekend and the location was excellent for our boat cruise and the Fireplace on Saturday night were Awesome! We enjoyed the breakfast served and found the service to be right on point. We look forward to returning and enjoying this hotel in the near future.

While amenities and being up to date are important, my main focus for a hotel is it’s cleanliness and how comfortable is the bed since I’ve stayed many places that while nice, if the bed is uncomfortable can ruin your stay. Our room at Omni was clean and comfortable. There were a few things that looked a little tired and could use updating but overall we had a good sleep and were refreshed for the next day.

Room was clean area was fines. Staff was mediocre at best. Last night person seem disinterested and didn’t seem to want to speak. For the price we paid it was honestly not work it too me. Felt that they nickeled and dined you too death. No housekeeping for the entire 5 night. Crazy expensive for parking we had to make other arrangements which was a hassle since i was on crutches but we made it work. Even if we had parties on garage not elevator access. Will not be staying here again. Not worth the money, poor customer service. Had to get towels and empty trash daily. Very disappointing!!

From the moment we stepped into the Lobby, the excellence of the Trump was on full view, from being greeted by name and the glass of Champagne, the commitment to excellence was evident. Room service was spot on, hot and within timeframe promised. We can't imagine staying anywhere else!

Everyone was very helpful!! I love how clean the rooms were!! Breakfast was great!! Definitely staying there next time visiting!!
