The spa was so useful. We needed it as we travelled a long way the. staff went out of their way to make their guests happy. Good choices excellent. There was the option of not having the room cleaned. Dressing robe slip on shoes for the spa area . They covered every thing efficiently

The Pulitzer is a great stay in a wonderful location, with exceptional staff. We had one night in Amsterdam, and they helped to make it as special and fulfilling as we could hope! We will be back!

The hotel does not live up to it's rating. When I arrived I was given a room with scaffolding on the window and not facing the main street as I was expecting. Nothing like opening the blinds to find a construction worker holding a caulking gun. On the plus side they were quick so the entire scaffolding was gone a few days later. The lobby smells ... bad. I'm not sure what's going on but we both noticed the smell over multiple days. The recommended restaurants from the staff were not good, I would call them tourist traps, given the number of restaurants around I would have expected better suggestions. The breakfast at the hotel was good (but expensive). The location was excellent it's a shame the rest of the hotel doesn't live up to it. Am I being harsh, maybe but at these prices and levels I think it's fair to expect a bit more.

Andaz Amsterdam was okay, but it would not be my first choice in Amsterdam. The hotel is convenient and the food was good, but the reception area is small and the modern design is not really my taste. The rooms are fine, but the beds were not very comfortable. There is no real spa, and the gym is too small for a hotel in this category. Overall, I would rate it closer to a 3-star hotel than a true 5-star hotel. I also think it is too expensive for what it offers.
