Front desk agents gave me a bit of attitude upon arrival and I caught one woman give me a full up and down look. The person who was to take my bags upstairs with me only took the bag I had in my hand and not my luggage. He also did not hold the door open for me. That’s two ticks on the overall first impression. I then went back down to the front desk to ask for an additional key envelope so I could give it to the other desk. The same one who gave me the stare up and down slid one on the counter. Rude. I had to ask her for a pen, which she took her sweet time getting out of her pocket when there were several right in front of her that I could see behind the desk from where I was standing. The elevators take forever and the agent downstairs kept/threw away my Uber Eats order. I ordered late in the night and fell asleep (which is totally my fault, order was delayed), but when I called the next morning they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. I was only calling to ask why they didn’t phone the room because I had no messages waiting when I awoke. They proceeded to tell me that never happened. Meanwhile, I had a photo provided on the Uber app for drop off in the lobby, at the front desk… Great location, clean and beautiful. The people could improve. I expect stellar service at a Kimpton. This was short of that.

Hotel was fine but it wasn’t up to par with other Pendry brand hotels I’ve stayed at. Mattresses were worn and you could feel digits from use. They should give earplugs & eyemasks to guests as drag cars race the streets allll night. There were lights in our headboard we couldn’t turn off. When we checked in they offered a house car to use, however in our 4 day span it was never available. It isn’t in service until noon and the driver always seemed to be on break. If I were them, I wouldn’t bother mentioning the amenity.

Loved the hotel, super nice and clean! Felt like home away from home!

The BEST SHOWER!!! Seriously, the shower alone was worth the stay. Staff amazing.
